South from Seattle on the Amtrak Coast Starlight to Klamath Falls, Oregon... meeting Chieko. Hiking at Crater Lake and driving down the Pacific Coast Highway from Coos Bay, Oregon to San Francisco. Then back on the northbound Coast Starlight at San Jose for the long ride back up to Seattle...
