Day 12 - Saturday, April 9 - Berkeley to Monterey

 

Leaving Chieko's Cupertino neighborhood... that's the Symantec World Headquarters just down the way from Bigfoot...

 

We had smoothies in San Jose whilst a pack of doggies in a nearby car looked on...

 

     

 

* This turned out to be the last time I saw Chieko...

 

Then I headed on up to Oakland and Berkeley...

 

       

 

       

 

 

Berkeley...

       

 

     

 

But I digress...

 

1st shot: Berkeley and the San Francisco Bay... 2nd shot: Back through Oakland...

 

Down the East Bay and through San Jose...

 

         

 

Through Gilroy and Watsonville to Monterey Bay...

 

       

 

   

 

I put in for the night between Seaside and Monterey, on the Pacific shore...
