Jessica was also present... This group had just returned from
Jacksonville, Florida, where Matt's father competed in and successfully
finished a marathon run...
Tomorrow we're off on a trek through Virginia, to Thomas Jefferson's house
at Monticello. Then we'll drive through the Shenandoah Valley, over the
Appalachian Mountains, through Knoxville, to Nashville, Tennessee. Next
we'll head down the Natchez Trace to Grinders Stand, where on October 10, 1809,
Captain Merewether Lewis drew his last breath. From the trace we'll head east, going
through Chattanooga and on to Atlanta... From Atlanta, who knows...
