The day began in Durham. Carina's guest room has 2 feathered alarm clocks and they go off early. And Elvis is everywhere...

At Winston-Salem I met Christie and Gary in Old Salem, at the Salem Tavern...

 

After our luncheon we strolled through the old town, catching up on all the news since last year's visit...
