Day 17 - Bayou Kitchen Gathering

Charlotte skyline... The Bayou Kitchen is but a stone's throw from the water tower at the left side of the picture...

I parked at the Bayou and walked over to my old Greenway Ave. quarters. In the first shot, mine was the middle porch, while Tom Billotto & Karen had the rightward porch... Oh the good dinners and iced tea sweetened with cranberry juice that I had on Tom & Karen's porch!

The walk down Greenway, to the Bayou... lot's of tree debris still on the curb from a recent ice storm (shades of 1989's Hurricane Hugo!). The third shot looks down Caswell Rd, away from the Bayou, toward Mercy Hospital (the building with the turrets), where I was born...

It seems the proverbial hundred years ago now, but once upon a time I was in the music business. Here is the back of what used to be known as Jack Straw's, where I booked bands from 1994-1997. My old office was in the basement, just to the front of the parked car...

The Bayou Kitchen, where so many good meetings took place...

Gigi dropped Bill off for the gathering and popped in to say hello...

Pete, Bob Patterson, Greg, Bill Noonan, Alan Christian and his new bride, and Mr. Roy...

Meeting adjourned...
