Saturday, April 23 Randy stopped by Strawberry Hill for a visit and tour of Bigfoot...

 

 

Sunday, April 24

 

For the first few days of my six week visit in Charlotte I was able to park just outside Mother's door at Strawberry Hill... but this was too convenient to last for long...

 

I accompanied mother to church,at First Baptist, in downtown Charlotte...

 

Mr. Angel stopped by for an evening meeting...

 

 

Tuesday, April 26

 

Across Charlotte to Mountain Island Lake for a visit with Sister Jan, Engineer Matt, and Will & Ryan...

 

After entertaining the Hamilton's in Bigfoot for a while we moved inside where Ryan and Will launched an underwear attach against me...

 

Inside Hamilton Manor...

 

The Hamiltons came onboard Bigfoot and together we went to dinner at the Asian Bowl restaurant...

 

       

 

       

 

 

Wednesday, April 27

 

I spent the proceeding evening camped at the Mountain Island Lake boat lot. I met Sister Jan and young Will at Will's bus stop, then Sister Jan and I enjoyed coffee at a nearby shop...

 

       

 

 

 

Errands with Mother... we drove by the old Thompson house at Farmwood before going to a local market...

   

 

Thursday, April 28

 

Visiting my Father's resting place...

 

     

 

At Strawberry Hill... Sister Jan and young Will were visiting and are shown here sampling goodies from a bag purchased at the Mast General Store in Hendersonville. The picture of Mother on my laptop screen is of her purchasing that very bag at Hendersonville a few days earlier...

 

 

Friday, April 29

 

Lunch with Randy at Morton's steakhouse at SouthPark. After lunch in the mall I sampled espresso from a machine at Sur La Table...

 

     

 

 

After lunch I dropped in on Sister Jan at Hamilton Manor where nephew Ryan scrubbed Bigfoot. The Hamilton's next door neighbor stepped over to give us a look at her baby, then invited us over for coffee. That's Sister Jan holding the neighbor's baby in the shot with the caffé mocha in the foreground. The neighbor's dog stretched out on the floor...

 

       

 

 

Engineer Matt's father, Bill, stopped by Hamilton Manor with his Rialta on his way from Michigan to Florida, while young Ryan performed bicycle tricks and feats of Bigfoot climbing...
