Day 7:  Departure - Back To The East Coast

Drop-off at Sea-Tac... as our time together ended it was hard to believe that seven days had passed...

 

Early morning at my lodge prior to the drop-off...

 

Father was able to get a nice parting shot of Mount Rainer as the jet ascended out of the Seattle area...

 

I wandered around Bellevue, savoring the recent days, taking a few shots with the new Pentax Optio 330...

 

Later in the day from this spot in Bellevue I called the folks back in North Carolina to see how they faired on the long cross-country flight... all was well...

 

Old Mount Rainier had remained elusive (from ground level in the Seattle area) during the entire time my parents were here. These shots are from a hill overlooking downtown Bellevue...

 

I will always remember the week my parents visited me in Seattle as one of the best times of my life.
