Day 6 - Virginia To Nashville

   

 

The day started in Salem, Virginia. We proceeded on down I-81 to Abingdon, where we stopped for a walk around town...

       

 

       

 

     

 

We proceeded on into Tennessee, stopping at Jonesborough for our luncheon...

 

       

 

       

 

       

 

We made our way on to Nashville and the Opryland Hotel by nightfall. Incredibly huge hotel. The Opryland Hotel is proximate to the (new) Grand Ole Opry...   

 

       

 

 

After dinner in one of the several lobbies we enjoyed Christmas music on the piano, a warm fire, and hazel nut coffee... very nice, in deed!
