As I left Farmwood to meet with Matt for bicycle shopping, a dark cloud passed over the Lebanon Rd. horse barn...

 

The tops of the downtown Charlotte towers can be seen from Sister Jan's and Matt's eastside neighborhood...

 

I'm in the market for a new bike, and Matt being a championship mountain bike racer, I petitioned his wisdom. On this day I liked the Cannondale hybrid... more looking to follow... Matt ordered a Yakima rack for his new Subaru...

 

       

 

     

 

Back at Hamilton House, Will had helped to prepare a little (early) birthday cake for me...

 

I met with Pete and Bob Patterson at the Crazy Japanese Seafood Buffet for dinner and again I regret the paucity of photographic evidence from this place. I did try to get a few shots of the fine whole lobster that was served but the lights being what they were, well... the only shot that turned out was of a bottle of Shiraz...
