* I was forced to go to this school under system wide court-ordered racial desegregation, otherwise known as "forced bussing." This was a terrible experience. Fortunately after 1 year the boundaries were redrawn and my side of the street was allowed to once again go to nearby Eastway Jr. High, where I wanted to be. This experience revealed to me that many of the leaders in charge cared much more about their ill-conveived social engineering plans than in providing a sound (and safe) educaton for students. I resent court-ordered "forced bussing" and the nincompoops who pushed it to this day.
