Cattle Call
Tex Owens
Yodel
The cattle are
prowlin'
Coyotes are howlin'
Way out where the doggies bawl
Where
spurs are a jinglin'
A cowboy is singing
This lonesome cattle call
Yodel
He rides in the sun
'Til his days work is done
And he
rounds up the cattle each fall
Yodel
Singing his cattle call
For hours he would ride
On the range far and wide
When the night
wind blows up a squall
His heart is a feather
In all kinds of weather
He sings his old cattle call
Yodel
He's brown as a berry
From ridin' the prairie
As he sings with an old western drawl
Yodel
Singing his cattle call
