Day 2 - Wednesday, March 30, 2005 - Out Of Seattle

 

Tuesday evening fell before I could get underway, so I remained in Kirkland for another night. Wednesday morning I picked up Nancy and gave her a ride to her work at Seattle's Lake Union...

 

         

 

At this point the Big Drive was underway... Mileage = 9261.1

 

I drove to the top of Queen Anne Hill for a few parting shots of Seattle...

 

       

 

     

 

Whilst taking the parting shots of Seattle a gal called Donna, visiting from Prague, Czech Republic, introduced herself (and took the shot of me & Bigfoot above)...

I stopped just down the I-5 at Fife/Tacoma, at Camping World, then on across the Puyallup River into Tacoma...

 

At Lakewood, a tad south of Tacoma, I stopped in to see my friend Sun who graced me with several Country & Western songs, including a fine rendition of "The Tennessee Waltz"...
