Day 1 - Tuesday, March 29, 2005 - Almost Out Of Seattle

 

My plan was to break loose of Seattle's pull by mid-afternoon but current events delayed my departure by a day...

 

The evening prior I stopped in for a hot tea at Mamasan's...

 

Tuesday's weather was volatile... rain, cold wind, and hail... in Kirkland...

 

Nancy's beloved old rabbit Fluffy took sick earlier in the week and unfortunately passed away Tuesday afternoon. I dropped off flowers and a note...

 

John & Jeannie's baby arrived early Tuesday morning! I stopped in to take a look at Baby Josie at Evergreen Maternity Center in Kirkland...

   

John brought Baby Josie to the reception room... John's grandparents from North Carolina were on hand for the event...

 

       

 

John's grandfather said that we looked like we were holding a bomb!

I was still in Kirkland at the end of Day 1, so there there I stayed... resolving to finally get out of Seattle the following day...
