Atlanta, May 5 and 6, 2005

Mother and Brother Brian came onboard Bigfoot and together we rode down to Griffin, Georgia, a few miles south of Atlanta, to visit with Aunt Blanche.

My Father...

My Father's father and his dogs. Unfortunately my camera blurred this picture of a picture, for in my mind this is the essence of my grandfather. In an antique shop out in Edmonds, Washington I once came across an old painting of just such a scene. When I stopped in to that shop several weeks later intent on buying the painting, it was not to be found... I'm keeping an eye out for it yet...

On the occasion of my Father's father's burial, in October of 1979, at the Thompson home in Culberson, North Carolina (near Murphy)...

While in Griffin we also visited with Aunt Lois. This is Brother Brian with Aunt Lois...
