Mamasan Third Anniversary, July 29, 2003
  
 
 
Mamasan called a Sankyuu Pati to celebrate the anniversary of her downtown Bellevue restaurant. I was happy to be invited, and a great time was had by all.
 
Great quantities of delicious food were served...  oishi!

Yamada-Sensei arrives and gets busy. Sensei is a 7th Dan Black Belt and one of the highest ranked Judoists in the United States. He was USA National Judo Champion in 1954 and 1955, and a participant in the 1955 USA Vs. Japan Goodwill Games. In 1990 Sensei was the Judo Deputy Commissioner of the Seattle Goodwill Games. All this in addition to 31 years as a wing technician at Boeing. Yamada-Sensei is Mamasan customer #1...
