Dinner With John and Jeannie, March 23, 2005

  

 

 

The day began in Kirkland, where I picked up Nancy for to take her over to her job at Lake Union. Nancy surprised me with a delicious pumpkin pudding!

 

     

 

 

John & Jeannie's abode, on the east side of Lake Sammamish...

 

 

Upon my arrival John's grandparents were busy preparing the evening's feast. John's grandparents had traveled cross-country via train from their home in North Carolina in order to be with John & Jeannie for the birth of their first baby... due on this very day. Jeannie was wrapping up her Microsoft work...

 

 

The gentlemen repaired to the patio for a meeting...

I had to play for my dinner!

 

 

And a fine Southern style feast it was...

 

 

After dinner John presented a slideshow of recent California vacation pictures... and we watched Raising Arizona... and cats lurked about...

 

     

 

 

Next morning I was sitting in the lobby of the local heavy truck dealership having some warrantee work done on Bigfoot, editing photos on my laptop, when I realized who John bears a striking resemblance to! Toby Keith...
